Purpose
To support projects involving research designed to improve the efficiency or effectiveness of the delivery of laboratory services.

Eligibility
Any public or private entity or any individual engaged in non-proprietary research is eligible to apply for a grant under the program. Grants may be made to eligible applicants for the purpose of assisting in meeting the costs of laboratory services research, evaluation or demonstration projects.

Application
The candidate should submit an application in the form prescribed by the OAML in its Guidelines for Applicants and Criteria for the Selection of and Rules for the Administration of OAML-Administered, Non-Proprietary Research Projects.

Grants
Individual grants to a maximum of $35,000.00 may be awarded to support laboratory services research, valuation or demonstration projects in Ontario.
   



The OAML will accept applications for the 2008 grant cycle beginning Thursday, April 3, 2008. The last date for the submission of applications for the 2008 grant cycle is Monday, June 30, 2008. Applications will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. Applications submitted after that time and date will not be considered. Grants will be awarded by September 2008.

One signed original and three copies of the completed application should be submitted to:
