The OAML Research Trust Small Grants Program supports innovation and excellence in the clinical laboratory sciences and the delivery of laboratory services in Ontario. Individual grants to a maximum of $35,000 are awarded annually.

An independent panel of judges reviews applications against established program criteria. Members of the judging panel are Dr. Andrew Baines, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto; Dr. Julie Silver, Professor of Microbiology, University of Toronto and Dr. Roger Thibert, Professor Emeritus, University of Windsor.

More than $935, 000 have been awarded to researchers in Ontario, since the Program was launched in June, 1997.

Regrettably, the OAML Research Trust Small Grants will not be available for 2011.
